New member looking for advice 75 diesel tourer
Hi, happy to be a new member and a Rover driver again.
I am looking for advice, or advice where to look or post. I admit I'm struggling to find what I need. I have 2002 diesel rover tourer 54000 miles with the lower BHP and wondering what is the best option for remap within the higher tolerance. It seems a little less gutsy than my old L series 45 and hence less fuel efficient. I live in Devon somewhere between Totnes and Plymouth and happy to travel to link with an experienced rover tech. I also have other electrical bits I need doing or advice with, new key fobs and coded, replacing or repairing the dash LCD trip display, and learning how to test or repair the diesel heater. The other issue at the moment is headliner, and door cards. Are there kits for replacing? And I know it might upset people but if not I might find some fun 4 way stretch fabric and make the interior more exciting. Any help super welcome even it's telling me not to post this in this section. Thanks in advance |

Hi and welcome to the forum.
We have a wanted section so a post there for a new LCD screen may help but generally they are no longer available. There are traders on the forum that can ofer you a 160 BHP remap. My CDT has had one of these remaps and it is a different car, no race winner but a better car. YouTube has a video on how to strip the dash clocks down to access the LCD screen, it was created by a member of this forum. A member Devilish is the person to speak to about repairing a FBH. They are a DIY fit and if you search the forum you will find advice about how to activate them as and when you want them to come on. good luck macafee2 |

Have a word with Trikey, He's in your neck of the woods and can do the remap for you. I highly recommend it
