How an Audi style bumper can be worth more than most complete cars make in open market, is beyond me.

I bet they make £500, I've seen the chrome surrounds make £325 alone... Imagine how much somebody will pay for one in three or four years time when there is hardly any available ????

Premium bumpers aren't rare and were selling on ebay for around £60 a couple of years ago. The surround's are rare. Those may well fetch the asking price. Bare bumpers are worth next to zilch without a surround. Is Radioguy still importing the Roewe copy? They came with a surround as I recall.

Suprisingly they'll probably get cheaper.

I remember around 2005/06 when I had my mk1 ZR and looking for a mk2 front bumper to do a facelift conversion. The bumpers and headlights were selling for hundreds, yet you can't give them away now.

Had the same issue when wanting to fit rover coupe bumpers to my 200 in the early 00's

Not that I personally would want 1, but is there any reason you couldn't just fill the bit around the grill and paint it with the rest of the bumper?
