Fitted a new thermostat kit to the ZT 190 by the keyhole method.
Now nursing a bruised and swollen right hand. If only the gap over the thermostat was half an inch bigger.
Only took me 2 hours this time. Took me 4 hours to do the 75.
Bought a gold resistor from Jules but not had tje time to fit it yet. Not sure the fan has a problem.
I've only had the car for a week and still very suspicious of it. Surely that can't be all that is wrong with it at 143k miles and 10 years old?

Good work, glad it's all come together

Finishers look really good, where did you get them from and were they easy to fit ?

Bought them from ebay, only cheap ones but do the job.

Meant to be fixed on with two bolts but as I got snug fitting ones I only used the one bolt and they seem pretty solidly on there

Started the ZTT as I do every week and let it idle for half an hour - as usual starts on the button, runs perfectly.

Can't wait to get her back on the road...

Put a battery in the remote control for the WinCE DD head - it's the future as far as choosing music on the SD card is concerned

Otherwise just driven it a lot, after the initial crank pulley/ecu woes I'd now drive the thing anywhere to be honest, lovely cars

Started to debobble the alcantara, got quite a good result, not quite there but the rain started so left that for another day so I csn clean the whole interior and get the back seat in properly!
Then I thought it was sunny enough to paint my interior plastics, got them all cleaned up and masked ready to go and the rain started again!
At least I have started to do both
