Monogram paint
Dear All
What's the current situation on monogram paint for we R75/ZT owners? I have heard in the past of ridiculous prices per litre, has anyone found any more realistic priced sources? Thanks Andrew

I found the following website advertising Typhoon paint. But I have not heard of the company before. The cost per litre is more reasonable and they are other size options as well.

Monogram paint
Last link looks interesting.
I wonder how much paint you would use to spray a boot spoiler (Mk.1 style) and scuffs on bumper corners? Andrew

hugs paints on ebay quoted me £235 per litre for typhoon. Their rattle cans are much cheaper though at £28.99 + postage £6.10 so £35.09 per 400ml. so you'd get 1.2l for £105.27.
They seem to do most monogram paints. The rattle cans give a fantastic finish, my engine cover was done using a can. I was going to buy the proper paint to do my side skirts but after asking around everyone has said to just use the rattle cans as they give an equal finish to the proper paint and is much cheaper and easier to use. Seen side skirts on a dark fantasy and twilight painted using the rattle cans and they were a perfect match. |
