Diesel engine not starting
I have someone who has a 03 Diesel ZT which will not fire up.
bought it and not ran since getting it. He has checked in tank fuel pump - fuel coming up to engine Replaced under bonnet pump fuel present at fuel rail New fuel filter Injectors cleaned Glow plugs Glowing PCV filter ok Called RAC out and left this report Any advice please. |

Hi,consider two ways:

Ecu is fried probably due to water ingress.

Plenun drain clear and dry, but doesnt mean it has never got wet. Can you test it if sent to you? |

No that's not correct Mike, moisture runs up the outside of the pcb and shorts the IBGT fets (ignition drivers) the ecu also has a fried can-bus controller ic.
