Default 1994/5 Abbey GTS 414 **SOLD**

The time has come to pass on my caravan which is a 1994/5 Abbey GTS 4 berth.

Now, I don't know a great deal about caravans. so please bear with me. I shall be happy to answer any questions and provide further pictures if required.

I Bought the caravan in September of last year from a private seller less than a mile from me. I needed something that was useable from the start and had a limited budget. (there is a post from me somewhere titled "need a van in a hurry"). I simply needed a van to enable a visitor to stay with us for a couple of weeks.

The van was much more than I wished to pay but was perfect in every sense. but it was local and had everything I needed. I collected it and towed it back to my home, parked it up and this is where she has sat since. She has been used for the odd friend visiting for a weekend. since buying I estimate a total use of 8 nights static sleep.

Ok here goes, Like I said the van is either 1994 or 1995 in year. the previous owner had it from new. It is a 4 berth HOWEVER one of the bunks had been removed so it actually sleeps 3 (unless u wish to share the huge main bed).
The van is repair free, with no dents etc. As ive said, ive not had it long but I can say after a poor winter it does not leak, nor is there any sign of damp.
The van has the following features. (that I can remember)
  • Hot/cold running water with shower (shower, kitchen sink/bathroom sink)
  • Thetford flushing cassette toilet (with independent water supply)
  • blown air heating
  • retractable blinds and flyscreens
  • gas/battery electrolux fridge
  • Cooker (oven/grill/4 point hob)
  • massively long hook up lead (including 12amp UK plug adapter)
  • Porch awning (never used/unbagged by me)
  • High capacity leisure battery
  • 2 x 40l (I think) Aqua roll water tanks
  • Built in sway bar
  • Hitch lock
  • spare wheel with new tyre
  • Truma Motor mover (still sell for hundreds used)
  • 2 x gas bottles (Butane - empty 7kg and a full 15kg)
  • a pile of handbooks for installed equipment
  • Summit RV-3000 Towing mirrors included (used for a collection cost £50)
  • twin electrical towing thing that converts the vans 2 electrical leads to the new 13 pin car sockets)
Single axle
Mass in Running Order (Kg) - 1010
Mass in Running Order (Cwt) - 19.9
Maximum Allowable/Authorised Weight (Kg) - 1250
Maximum Allowable/Authorised Weight (Cwt) - 24.6
Internal Length (ft in) - 16' 10"
Shipping Length (ft in) - 21' 11'
Width (ft in) 7' 1"

There are probably a lot of basic/important things ive missed.

Price £1,400.

The van will need collecting as my new car does not have a towbar. may I also suggest one or two helpers to move the van, it is parked to an angle to the road and requires moving over 2 kerbs which the motor mover may struggle with)

A few pics below, I have others that I can send on request.

I'd love one, this would be ideal for a starter van but just can't afford one at the minute.

I've had 3 vans over the years and miss having one for those weekends away. I would love to buy this if I had the cash but unless it's on easy payment terms it's not going to be possible.sad as this looks a cracker.good luck with the sale.
