The MK2 loom is different due to different Internal Sensors and Location moved to middle of Roof.
Much Different.
Mine also has the Self Powered Backup Horn, not sure if on same loom though.

Well it appears I have failed miserably – unable to get the fitted alarm operating. We even tried setting the country codes to UK as well as NZ but no one home.
The best result we got was when the country code was set to UK. The Testbook then gave an option to enable the alarm but it just locked up the Testbook each time we tried.
At least I now have a second key, although even that took several attempts to get it coded to the car so I suspect an underlying BCU fault.
I guess I will have to live with it until I have another rush of blood to the brain or a gigantic burst of energy.

Hi Graham,
Sad to hear you weren't able to fix your alarm but good on you for your efforts. It's members such as yourself who share their experiances that contribute to make this place a great forum. Enjoy your 75 anyway.

Update - The saga of the alarm. At last a resolution… crushed and damaged and generally munched up wires at rear of the sun roof going to the ultrasonic sensor were found.
I am surmising that the previous owner, rather than repairing (normally requires head lining to be removed) just had the alarm disabled (set to not fitted with T4) to prevent the intermittent and bizarre operation.
Following micro75surgery (an incredibly specialised technique I devised not requiring the head lining to be removed and have no wish to repeat) all is fixed and I am now happy joy joy…

That centre Roof mount Alarm sensor can be a real pigs ear,
don't forget to use the key only set if animals, children or people are left in car.
Damp can also get to it if Sun Roof not closed properly, giving false alarms.

I used a similar procedure to wire up a speaker into the courtesy light cluster for my aftermarket reverse parking sensors. The words 'awkward', 'contortion' and 'arms like an octopus' spring to mind whilst routing that wiring....
