Default Ex-members car for disposal

Les who lives at Pudsey, West Yorks has just rung me to say he cannot use his 75 due to health reasons, so is looking to swap it for something less near to the ground. He has been offered £500 as part of the car exchange for the car he needs, but would rather it went to a member.

I don't have much in the way of details yet, other than it is a CDTI 117K on the clock, I think its a late MkI, he was a mechanic has all the facilities at home to look after it and he treated it like his baby, it wanted for nothing in his ownership.

More details to follow soon.

[Edit to add more details] Automatic, Royal Blue metallic, 2002, Connoiser SE(?), FBH but PCB needs attention(?), Charcoal leather interior, MOT till July, Full service history except one had all that it needed in its life. Rear bumper looks as if it has had nuts and bolts thrown at it, cannot be seen from 8 feet away. Memory seats, HK sound system, 6 CD player in boot. I can pass Les's phone number on, but no calls please after 17:30..

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

HK is not bad to fit mate, you just need a day spare and enough room to get the seats and carpet out!
