Default ZT/75 Seatbelt Pretentioners. Are they the same?

Simple question for somebody, Need some seatbelt pretentioners for my crash damaged ZT, Spotted some 75 ones on ebay but not sure if they're the same. Could anyone shed some light before i bid?

Cheers, Sean

If the pre tenioners have fired I am pretty sure you will need to replace the SRS ECU as well as it is a use once device

Yep been there done that, double check your airbag connections but chances are the light is because the SRSDCU has a permanently logged 'crash event' and these can not be cleared

Before buying any parts you would be advised to get your car on T4 as one or both of the side impact sensors may also have logged a 'crash event' as well to add to your shopping list.

I had a car in on my T4 recently which had been sold as ok but according to the SRS system it had been in a crash and some scheming person had blanked out the lamp or done something as the warning lamp never came on with the ignition.

I believe you can get an MOT with a SRS fault

At least the that was the intention of the owner of the Tourer I was working on and he was an SVA examiner so I assume he knew what was and was not allowed.
