You would need to PM Mark our RS to see if he has anything planned.

Funny You Should Ask That
I was only saying to JamesUK the other week that we should try to tempt Jules out with some biscuits. Hope you don't mind if a couple of Mancs join you if we can?

That makes three of us .. Erm, "Last of the summer wine" ring any bells Jimbo?
Re the RS, not sure there is one for North Wales? Apart from the meets we have arranged, I don't recall any meetings ever being held there? Maybe Jules and Isabel would like to lead us up to the café on top of the Great Orme for a photo shoot if they are available on the day.. Early September? (edit..Should read August) On a Sunday afternoon? *5th or 12th*.. ?? Meet up and Coffee break on Colwyn seafront by the pier, then up to the café? It needn't be a car meeting, just a social meeting so we can fill the cars if people prefer, I will prob have room for two as long as you don't mind a lil white dog bouncing all over you.. lol... All - any ideas very welcome.. ... Last edited by James.uk; 20th July 2012 at 01:11.. |

Well, Mr Jones
Looks like you've got 3 invaders from NW England, a congenial local 75/ZT guru, his good lady and a small white dog as probables so far.
You don't ever need an invite as far as I'm concerned Jim, but the Welsh contingent seem to hide whenever we invade. Come to think of it, I saw loads of 75s & MG ZTs when we went to S Wales, but don't recall seeing many in N Wales. Also our meetings at The Hollow Tree in Stretton can't be any further for some of them than for some of us, surely. Have we ever had anyone from North Wales there? You could join us there sometime Jeff. At least we're regular (agood supply of liquorice) Quote:

I noticed that too Robert.. I have attended two meetings in North wales.. mainly coz they were my idea.. heh heh.. But.. no Welsh members attended either one?
Jules and his family attended both meets, but other than that it was all North West members innit... The last meet we had there it was quite windy and the tide was in causing huge waves to break over the sea wall. Robert kept going close to the waters edge and I sat with my camera in hand hoping to see him get soaked and to record the event, but it didn't happen.... *sobs*.... lol.... (maybe this time??? )... We usually meet on the East side of the Pier, as close to it as possible, but we can't be seen from the road there. So if you are coming, pull onto the seafront as close to the Pier as you can and you will see us on your left.. Colwyn bay is approx 65 miles West of the junction M6 X M56, and about an hours drive from there.. Last time we picked up from the Romper on Wilmslow road near the airport, then another brief stop at the Hollow tree to collect a few more, from there onto the McDonald's near Mold in Wales, (no one was there!) and finally onto Colwyn bay... Each stop pick-up was of 10 min duration.. Same again this time???? There is a lil seafront Kiosk Café thing 100 yards from the Pier, and a brick built one on top of the Great Orme... Or... date wise.... would it be better to make it the same day as we normally meet at the Hollow tree? (19th of August) Then people could either come with us to Wales or stay and chat at the Hollow tree... ... Last edited by James.uk; 20th July 2012 at 16:00.. |
