Unblocked a sunroof drain and sealed it properly, then swapped some worn bonnet struts for a decent pair.
Oh, and had a nice drive with the chilly aircon on, you gotta love a 1.8t for driveability. |

I just wish my gauge would work Jack has only half dozen boards left btw!
I have been lazy today but I did check Bones oil and water and that's fine. I went to Halfords for some mesh for the plenum as well but typically got none in stock! |

Drove the funny coloured one to Whitby for fish 'n' chips, drove it home and decided I really don't want an automatic as I can't get on with the cruise control behaviour on automatic diesels.
Who fancies a diesel automatic Duotone then?, MOT due end of next month, but it will be sold with a full MOT test Brian |

Poundland or the likes often have gutter mesh which will do the job fine.

Removed the front scuttle panel to paint it with bumper paint, it was looking rather faded, I've bought new scuttle clips and wiper spindle blanks so this gave me the opportunity to clean up the area behind it and in and around the plenum - surprising how much dirt builds up behind the panel.
Rubbed the wiper arms down ready for a fresh coat of paint. removed the under bonnet soundproofing ready to fit a better item. Quite surprised when I removed the old piece to find quite a bit of mould build up on the back of it and the heated washer connectors were hanging down as a result of mice having eaten the foam tape. |

As above what Andy suggests, I had some of these going free at the last meet and the June meet cut in half they are perfect
