Default Idea for Midlands Nano - Remaps on Request

It's just a thing me and dad was chatting about today, but I was wondering whether or not anybody here that specialise in remaps would be willing to attend a nano meet one of the days and provide an opportunity for members to have their car done (naturally anybody wishing to have one would have to pay for it + fuel costs).

Just a thought....

A re-map is certainly on my "to-do" list for 2018.

I'm sure there would be interest in this for the CDTi 160 map.

The Ethos of the Nano meets is that no money changes hands, nobody that offers their services makes a penny profit. All the T4 sessions are carried out by volunteers. the idea is to help the owner to help themselves. Once people start attending with a view to charging then the whole idea of the Nano meet is lost,

Provided the organisers of the meet are happy with what's going on I'd be up to travelling a bit for a meet

Dave beat me to it and he is correct it is against our main principle of not making any profit at the meets, advice and support is free and it has worked successfully like that for the last 8 years

As above I myself had my tourer and my lads MGZT upgraded to a 160 by Phil T4 he had to come to my house to do the upgrade and I only live 4 miles from our nano venue.

He did how ever follow on to the meet after but no work was carried out by him at the meet.

Xpower 131 upgrades used to be carried out by a T4 owner way back but again that was done in private between the owner and the T4 owner.

Maybe the people could meet up somewhere neutral or turn up early to get their remaps done before the Nano kicks off. To have someone available in one place would be handy as members come from far afield. Then it doesnt affect the brilliant ethos of the Nano meets policy of helping one another.
