Thanks the exhaust needs changing as its hitting the car.

For a bosal back box centre pipe and cat is £470. That will have to be done in a couple months

The garage told me the cat was welded at the seam so they cannot turn it round to stop it hitting the car.Im going to look into different routes as i want it to stay as original as possible

I'd look for a system with a cat, from a scrap car, as there are endless numbers of them, and you can fit a new back box, such as a Bosal, which I'm quite happy with, for around £80. I should think you could do the whole system using secondhand bits for well under £200, with some shopping around, Thomas!
