save me unnecessary work.
Has anyone removed the oil filter body and oil cooler from the engine when in situ?
If anyone has any tips on how to do it That might save me any unnecessary work?

To remove the oil filter body, & oil cooler you would need to drain all the oil, & coolant, remove the manifold for good access, below is a couple of photo's of the above, quite a few items are in it's way to be honest but it can be done. I am sure I have a couple in the shed somewhere one with the oil filter body & cooler attached to each other & just a cooler on it's own, I will find them out a take a couple of pics if it will help in anyway?

any reason you need to take the filter assembly off?
Normally if there is some leak of oil into the coolant its the rubber seal between to cooler and filter housing, unless the housing seal is leaking oil. |
