Expansion bottle cap

Need a new cap for my 1.8t folks.anyone know which one supposed to be on this engine or even which is better,at the moment its got the 140 degree one on.

One marked 140 under the cap, or, just change the rings for Viton ones

Just had a look at mine and believe it or not there are no o rings at all on it😗

Just a quick question,but would having no o rings on expansion bottle cap cause acceleration hesitation.in theory i suppose it would interfere with coolant temp sensor.

No. In fact I doubt it has much effect on anything, except during an over-heat situation. Even then, I doubt you'd be aware of what happened. The seal that really matters above all is the flat one. That seals in the pressure, the o-rings don't.
