Both lenses felt good on the camera John, with the Canon just taking the honours.
The Sigma has good glass BUT... oh that L series - magnifique. It's difficult to imagine how their primes could be any better, but I'm assured that they are. I'm sure I'll get used to the (for me) weird zoom. The locking device is good though - it's like having a fixed focal length lens of whatever your choice is. OS and IS - there seemed very little difference. I should really thank Jessops for allowing me 4 hours with the lenses. God knows what the good citizens of Wolverhampton must have thought |
