I think I'll just strip the lot out.It seems the safest way. Plus I value my hands, and can't play my guitar with my fingers covered in plasters!

I know complaining about it won't fix it, but t's so typical of modern cars like the 75/ZT that changing what is essentially a service item (the pollen filter) is waaaaay more complicated than it should be. It's something you should be able to change within seconds by doing nothing more than unclipping the n/s plastic inspection cover and maybe getting some skinned knuckles. I'm convinced that since about 1990, jobs which once were simple to carry out at home have been deliberately made obtuse so that most people will just give up and go to their dealer.
