I wouldn't normally comment on the price on a sale thread either but if you actually want to sell the car then I think you need to lower the price by quite a long way. No matter what the colour a non-LPG'd 190 with those miles is realistically worth about £2k less then your asking, and even then it would be good money. It's a sad fact that our cars are approaching the lowest point in their value.....they probably can't get much lower but until they start to enter the 'classic' stage they're unlikely to go up as well.
If you want to keep you car for another 10 years then it will easily be worth what you're asking, if not more however as of today unless it's got a V8 under the bonnet or extremely low mileage then I would be shocked if any V6 got over £2k. Personally I would say if you like the car that much just keep it and enjoy it!

I've sold my MG ZT-T / PeterMann / 185831
Dear Moderator,
I'm still confused as to how this happens... I've looked at everything on the site and can find no clue or link telling me how / what to do to add **SOLD** to my 'For sale' entry. And sorry to say your web-speak in response to my e-mail... 'Hi Peter, just PM a Mod to do the honours ;-) Only the Mods can do this.' ... hasn't helped! What's a 'PM'? If it's Private Message, to whom do I send it? I guess 'Mod' is Moderator. Can I suggest you have a specific link? Anyway, would you be good enough to add **SOLD** to http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=185831 for me please. Thank you. Hi Versus,
Not as much as I advertised it for (£3,750)... actually quite a lot less you'll not be surprised to learn. But the guy who bought it was very nice, local and paid cash, so we were both happy. Not really fair on him to say how much - sorry! Peter Mann |
