You will enjoy Beamish Brian, quite a few new exhibits have been added over the last few years. They are currently building a 1950s town, just behind the existing one.

I always enjoy a day at Beamish, and the '50s town will be an interesting addition. The only down side is Davy's Fish and Chips. Tried them once, disgusting!

Its only in the early build stage atm Brian, the chippy is c 1913 though, not 50s.
