![]() Hi.
I just bought a CD playing head unit from ebay that came out of a 75 complete with surround etc. It is an original Rover part, but from a later car than mine My existing unit is a cassette player and I want to liberate the glove compartment of the CD changer. The thing is it didn't come with the wiring harness that plugs into the back. The seller is prepared to take it back, but it's a nice unit I got cheap, so before I do anything I want to find out if I can buy the harness that would be a straightforward plug in, allowing me to use my steering wheel controls. I did exactly this with my Rover 45 I owned before. I bought a JVC unit that just plugged right in, and took me about 10 minutes to fit in place of the old cassette unit, Any advice appreicated. |

![]() Have a look at this and tell us what type of headunit you have now and what type you are trying to fit.

My existing head unit is the Harmony as in the first picture. The new head unit looks similar to one posted in the link, but not exactly. It does have a Rover sticker on it and the seller told me it came out of a 2005 Rover 75 V6 Saloon Contemporary SE Here's a couple of pics. Do you think it should go in my 2002 CDT ? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
