Default Smiley!

Hi,I know that I will be in the minority, maybe the only one,but I prefer an ordinary rear number plate rather than the smiley.Anyone else? Please?

I know what you mean..... The big smiley's are a bit.....well......high viz at times. I've had 3 75's/ZT and none have had the emergency services rear number plate😉.

I like my smiley, think it suits the 75/ZT well, either saloon or tourer

A standard plate makes it look as if the the owner either can't afford the real thing or just doesn't care about the car.
Judgemental, moi?

Just my view.... but a "standard" rear plate just looks wrong

"Standard"

Smiley

A normal plate is perfectly adequate for legal purposes.

But, if you like number plates, it's your car, your choice innit..

I'm happy with mine sporting the std oblong plate, I guess it is what I am used to since owning the car. The plates fitted by the supplying dealer were std oblong too, so kept it as it was! BUT, if you had a non ageing personal number, it may be better suited to the smiley style, Just my opinion so no judging me is required on my post, Thanks.

Exactly It is up to the indivudal owner in the end.

It's aethetics and not down to a price of a couple of pounds difference....

Bought my car with an ordinary oblong plate which had been supplied new by the dealership it was bought from.
I can't believe Rover dealerships were not all supplying smilies.

First thing I did was to change it for a smiley as personally, while I accept it's up to the individual, I always think the car is transformed when it wears the number plate it was designed for.

Got to say Bob, your finishing touch "AUTO" adds that little bit of class...so you may be forgiven.."innit"
