Morning all, I had to open up and put the heating on in the zone this morning, milder but dull and cloudy with rain forecast here.

Morning folks - just got back from the last school run before school half-term holidays - can't believe it will soon be 6 weeks since New Year.
The frost has finally relented here, but although the car's outside temperature is showing 6°C, there's a biting cold wind blowing. We went trouser hunting yesterday - I thought it was about time I started wearing them in my house

Why does no-one make a pair of 39" waist trousers? - 38" are too tight, but 40" are too baggy. I think it will have to be a 38" pair with an elasticated waist

Good day Rod, here is a thought. Go 40” and get yourself a pair of braces. They come in different colours. After having my belly cut open last year, it was 6 months before I could hold my trousers up with a belt. You don’t want to go elasticated, as your too much of a playboy for that. Some of the Humpty Dumpty members wear the elasticated leggings to the meets and very fetching they look in them
