Washed and polished Huey then swapped out the 'space saver' wheel for an alloy spare. After that I drove to the garden centre and back for some geraniums and compost!

fitted modified handbrake compensator, now just handbrake shoes to do and that is all braking done

Nice drive from Birmingham too the Cotswolds for mgs in the park. Then a very pleasant drive home 130 round trip great stuff.

finished painting the interior plastics I started yesterday, just letting the lacquer dry! Tried giving an a pillar a quick coat of black to see how it looks, looks good to me, but going to get them reupholstered in dark fabric

Used my special new tool I built earlier on this week.......

The M47R Leakbacktesteromat 3000 (tm)



100 ml of leakback in 30 seconds of running

The result, after an hour of painless spanner work, injector number 3 in the ZT was replaced, and the result was no longer a
W R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R Vroom, but a W R R vroom.

Well chuffed, no more twenty second hot start cranking

So off to the reconditioners tomorrow with said duff injector, then I'll replace number 2
