Welding began today on the Marina, the to do list was....

Repair osf a pillar, replace both headlamp panels, replace both front wing tips, rear arches and sills.
We ground all the quite obvious filler off the os sill, revealing an immaculately shiny rust free sill, with a dent in it. Ok so that's one less thing to change. Then ground all the filler off both rear arches, one was a little crusty, but under about a centremeter of filler was a perfect rear arch on the other side so what that is about, I do not know.

Probably a small amount of damage that's been badly repaired in the past...................I've seen lots of bodge go into cars that hardly need any.
Good news that it's not as bad as you thought though

Cheers, I'm not doing the welding, just the fetching and carrying. It has had new arches in the past, just no reason for all that bloomin filler!!

Oh my goodness, that makes the Marina look a low mileage minter! I think you should buy a welder and have a crack yourself mate.
