![]() Just a quick sanity check here, the basic unit with RDS, Ipod charging and TMC is $644 shipped, or $560 with the 13% discount(is this still available Sean?).
So at an ex rate of 1.53,that's about £360 GBP shipped. Is that correct? Just checking before I commit. How does that compare to the prices for the early shipped units? Cheers, Rich

![]() Hi Sean,
Many thanks for your swift reply, can I ask, are all my current 'bits' now redundant? that is (of course) my E46 16:9 screen, my Mk 4 DVD sat nav and the BMW 16:9 tv tuner along with the radio tuner( the last two items mentioned are the ones that sit in the boot well of my tourer) or are some of them needed for the systems you supply? Many thanks, Marc

I've decided to go for the new unit, can I confirm with you that you received the coupon request from myself and let me know the price I'll pay including shipping please. Also, what sort of time will I be looking at from date of order (which will be tommorow) to expected delivery. I'm off on holidays with the car soon and it would be great to have use of the sat nav etc. Kind Regards Coolcat (jeff) |

![]() Hi Sean and other reader's, Just received Unit from Sean, RDS version but no TMC. Most of the install sorted, Rear Camera & Wireless, Steering wheel Etc, But no joy with the DVB TV box, nothing at all. I have already tried different ways to connect the DVB & the unit, but nothing. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE EXACT WAY TO CONNECT THE TWO TOGETHER I have tried the Video in 1, Video in 2, Aux in on the Unit with the yellow red & white connectors from the DVB but nothing. There is a black & white diagram in the DVB instructions of Two of the connectors to a TV, but being B & W. which Two colours do you use from the DVB box. Help on this one please before warranty runs out. Thanks AlanG.

You need to connect the yellow out from the DVB to the AUX Yellow in on the head unit. the other two cables for video are outputs to monitors they are not inputs. Then you need the audio white and red plugged in as marked. I dont know what box sean supplied but if it is the twin aerial input model made by SINOIT, then you need to turn it on by the remote, and to do this simple as it sounds just check that there is a battery fitted. Mine came from China direct and had the little plastic tab to pull out activating the battery, so I pulled it out and had no joy.Spent ages on it then checked and there was no battery fitted.Worked fine after I put one in. |
