![]() I once had a nice set of brushed steel caps, well that's what I thought they were. They turned out to be alloy and welded themselves to the brass thread. They were an absolute nightmare to remove.
Anything that is chromed will be fine. |

![]() I bought these in December 2012 and the cap itself is of very high quality, and as of yet no problems as you describe.
But I do know what you mean, I once bought a set like you describe many years ago and only after a few weeks I couldn't get them off! Had to eventually carefully cut them off...... ![]()
