most of which I have fitted to mine lol
including 160 remap, cruise control, electric window blind, real wood dash, temp gauge

I would agree, when I see the quoted hours to some jobs on some modern cars I do wonder if the manufacturers have done it on purpose. Land Rovers seem to need the body removed from the chassis on some models for a Turbo or EGR replacement and all that they needed to do was put in an access panel when they were designed.
