That could well be correct. I don't have a wireless camera but its quite plausible that the reverse sense from the rear cluster could be transmitted wirelessly.

Does any one know which is the infrared wire to connect to the new dvd gps unit I have the gray censor wire to the front and above in the shield. Inside that is a blue wire with a bronzes wire braid around it. which wire from the new unit attaches to the old infrared wire. The infrared box is located I think at the back of the housing and to the top. It is black by the look of things. Any help please. I am getting fed up now.

Assuming you have the ZT. ( I think R75 were different) The grey wire has the irda sensor at the end, ignore this.
The wires going into the "black box" need to be connected as below

Irda controls...
Unit Black to Car Black
Unit Green to Car Blue Purple

Forget the green/white

I cut out my black box to ease clutter
