Thanks mate. It's 7 years since I was last made redundant, whole place closed. Getting used to it now, but it's harder to find employment as you get older.

£2400 approx redundancy money if I'm selected....

Good luck Andy, I've been through it. I was with a national railfreight company, they got the centralisation bug, all managerial positions at local level eliminated and everybody after a handful of jobs in the Midlands. Those positions all went to people living within reasonable travelling distance so company bodyswerved relocation costs! I had a finishing date then the wind direction kept changing! I was then told I was being kept on, no I wasn't, yes I was then I was told my position was secure, I was definately being kept on. Two weeks later I got a phone call, take leave next week then finish! What pee's me off is months after I left my immediate boss was still having to do 90% of what were my duties as they couldn't find anyone else who could do them
