I was out in the bush at the weekend close to the equator and took this shot.
I see there is going to be a super moon tomorrow night and that if the clouds are clear at 11.35 pm in the UK, the moon will be closer to the earth for better viewing. Good luck with that one! I will keep a look out tomorrow night but am not too hopeful as it is the rainy season here and most nights the sky has been full of clouds and rain. Still it keeps me out of trouble |

Have been away on the boat this week and it was so warm we left the hatch cover open and saw some fantastic night sky. Couldn't take any decent shots as the tripod is no good on a small moving boat! Just end up with a blur as the boat shifts on anchor

Lee it must have seen like only yesterday when you were enjoying an warm and balmy night at sea.
I took this shot last evening with my little bridge camera. Not the best of the moon shots as I feel I could do better |
