Unfortunately I just get to tow it - the racing seat inside is so narrow my bum would never fit - and if it did i would certainly never get out !!!
The Golf belongs to my daughters partner who races it in the Golf GTI series around the UK - which seems to be a very low cost way of enjoying competetive motorsport and having a lot of fun. If you want to see what it looks like from the inside, James has posted a video on U Tube http://www.youtube.com/user/mk1dub?b.../2/Pbnh3xvPi7g

Just the job, thanks. Allways fancied that but never had the akkers
Way back in the begining of time (1983) I used to know a girl who´s boyfriends sister (sorry), raced the GTI in serious competion. She used to get a couple of cars straight from the factory in Germany every year. Polish sounding name. Kotolinski (Suzanne) Last edited by Roverowner; 29th May 2011 at 15:00.. |

As a rough guesstimate, how much a year would it cost to enter a car? Also what's involved ie, licence and qualifications?
