When tried to open the bonnet to check oil & cool fluid level heard that the catches/cables went disassemble itself

Youtube, front left wheel, front left inner fender, voilà!!!
In this order, 30min

On the V6, changed the oil, fit the spy hole to the plenum chamber, cleaned the drains and almost chopped a finger off when the wind shut the bonnet unexpectedly! Those bonnet props should never have been left off the design in the first place! Shimples.

Noted yesterday on a 300 mile trip that fuel consumption was 35 instead of 39 mpg along with an intermittant vibration through the steering.

Found a warm front wheel so today had the calliper off to investigate. Supected the guide pins, but cleaning and refitting did not solve the problem; it's a sticking piston. So now after a replacement calliper, being the easier and quickest way to solve the issue in this cold weather.

Also fitted the cambelt tensioner on the other KV6 now that new fixing bolts arrived from Rimmers (the originals had chewed heads which I was not prepared to risk torquing up)
