Removed the steering wheel, marked up the right hand side with my cardboard template, then chain drilled, cut, filed and finally sanded the new aperture.

Fitted my new steering wheel controls, cruise master switch and ecu, changed the ZCS coding and took it for a test drive.

Mmmmmmm cruise controltastic

Tomorrows job is to remove the drivers side door card, and replace the faulty lock actuator, it's getting closer to how I want it

ZTT hoovered out and cleaned engine bay. Not brilliant, but was a start as was looking like a shed, especially as had been using it as a motor to take rubbish to the tip. Need to do other jobs over time to bring back to scratch.

Funnily enough I too have cruise and a door actuator to do tomorrow!!

Today was wheels/tyres on the goodwood, took the 11's off to be refurbed only to find the grid at the bottom of the pile was flat after fitting 3!

Fitted my new diesel filter this afternoon and filled with Millers cleaner. Ran it for 30 seconds to soak the injectors and now expecting great things tomorrow. Great things...

When I came in I offered my hand to my wife as she loves the smell after I've been working on engines.
'Mmm, lovely,' she says, 'you could wear that as an aftershave.'
'It is an aftershave' says I, 'it's called Diesel.'

Sitting with a beer now.

Used the 3m headlight restoration kit to clear the misty lenses. This job is more messy than I thought, so I can recommend using a dust sheet over the engine compartment if you have the bonnet open. Headlights look great now though.
