They were shot at The Medway Riverside Country Park, there is a pond area that has a lot of birds around it!

It was a nice rainy day today so I went for a long walk (with the accasional stopping to keep the camera dry). With so few people around there were lots of birds out and about. Captured only a few decent ones.

Wnet out for a long walk an got caught in the rain in the middle or the New Forrest, nowhere to take shelter! Got a couple of photos once the clouds past over.

I'm using this lens http://www.sigma-imaging-uk.com/lens.../135-400mm.htm
I need to upgrade to at least 500mm with faster focusing. This thing is good but a bit bit slow on the auto focus. Edit- Was raining too, can see a dash of rain near the birds tails. (only noticed it myself just now)
