Will have to give them a try, none of my local locksmiths will cut a blank not supplied by them for "health and safety" reasons.

They are all part of large chains, no independents left.

Used them loads, was cynical the first time as I found it hard to believe they could cut from a photograph but every key they ever sent me worked on the day it arrived and still works now.

They also give you a reorder number so you don't need to send a second photograph if you've already bought one.

Well the only thing I did with my car today was fill it up with diesel. Bargain price of 0.91 pence per litre. Well that is the price in Mundorf, Germany at the moment. Makes me feel sick to think what we pay in GB. Weather is fantastic, a clear sky and 32 degrees c, and that is cooler than Tuesday. Seems according to the forecast for GB that it is coming over this weekend to us.

Had alignment checked and adjusted this week. Slight adjustments needed. Result - my Tourer feels like a different car. That was certainly worth doing.

Today I am disconnecting the battery to see if it solves the recent electrical issue with the ODO remaining on at all times and the computer not working at all.

Then I am calling a mechanic I to get it booked in to try and find why it's losing water and see if it needs the head gasket replacing, which means ordering the much improved gasket.

To be honest, I'm also thinking of just getting rid and buying something that is going to actually work for more than a day at a time without causing me to think the thing is about to blow up and waiting for the next "what is happening?" moment.

Finally got round to fitting my motobuild lowering springs today and new front shocks, drives so much nicer now although I don't see much difference in the height.
