Bob, congratulations on your new acquisition. That said I will dearly miss the ROOOAAAARRRR! Following Paul through the Saltash tunnel to some local meets! I think its common knowledge that I nearly wet myself every time!

Neil, I hope to see you and that beautiful XPG tourer again soon and hope you are feeling better soon!

As you know, having only being an active member for just about a year now. It has always amazed me how not only Allen & Val, but all the SW members and other members I have had the pleasure of meeting this year, have welcomed me and at no point have I ever felt out of place. It is truly a great credit to you all! Thank you!

Hope to see you all in 2016. Especially now we all have diaries to work with. No excuses ladies and gents!

One final note, can I just say to you all, have a VERY Merry Christmas and a VERY Happy and prosperous new year! :xmas-smiley-005:
I've run out of THANKS but have a Super Christmas to you and family.

Have to agree with Darrans sentiments above - for any members who have never been to either a meet or a meal (the Olympic breakfasts at the Louis Tearooms are superb ), we have a great time just sitting and talking about pretty much anything, it's actually quite rare that the subject of 75/ZT's or in fact cars, ever comes up ! It is all very informal and you will certainly be made to feel welcome.

So if you're local and feeling unsure about coming along, then please give it a go - there are no 'clicky' groups and everyone is happy to get their cars out on the road and use them - the more, the merrier !!

I should have posted before but I have stayed away because I am embarrassed to admit I have a problem.

It's not been an easy thing to try and come to terms with but I have had this for about 5 years and tend to keep it to myself.

Basically it freaks me out when I go onto dual carriageways and motorways, in daylight I'm not too bad but at night it's a different matter.

I live in a bubble and tend to stick to a radius of about 10 miles although I do go further but as I know my way to most places without going onto a fast dual carriageway I'm okay.

Saturday night started okay but Matt disappeared into the distance and the traffic was all over me like a rash plus a couple of lunatics went across my nose and I knew I had to get off.
So spotted the Buckfastleigh to Totnes turn off and took that one.
It's been over 10 years since I last drove on that road, never needed to use it since then, was a bit hair raising at times but I kept to 40mph until you come to the bridge with the traffic lights.

I made it into Totnes and pulled over into a bus stop and phoned Matt.

I should have gone down with Matt and Shirley in their car, I knew that but thought I would be okay, pride can be a curse.

I was angry and very upset when I got home to the point of where I was going to sell both cars and be done with it but after sleeping on it currently both are staying for the moment although the 1.8T may well have to go at some point.

I'm very happy that you had a wonderful evening and very sorry that I didn't make it.

PS: Please let me know Allen if I owe you any monies.
