Finished off the last balm & dye polish to steering wheel I refurbished a few days ago now all set to drive once again feels and looks totally different from the usual perforated leather MGZT steering wheel.

Had two Three-A P606 tyres put on the front of the tourer (!6" Unions) following a puncture too near the edge to repair. Seem to get good general reviews, will be interesting to read 75 owners' experiences of them.

i had those tyres on my Mercedes eclass 1998 for over 20k miles. found them to be quiet and good grip in wet and dry. were way better than the p6000's they replaced

Got underneath Kim, and decided I need a tool to change the rubber exhaust hangers. Plus it looks like a new exhaust won't be far off either.
Checked bottom engine mount bolts for torque. They were ok so I think it's a rubber bush that's causing the vibration.
Discovered that the dangling pipe I was worried about has a twin on the other side. I now know where my sunroof drains come out
EDIT - Then took her for a spin down to Tibshelf services. Sat drinking my hot choccie mocha and I noticed a computer icon on the lighting stick. And a button at the end. Driving back I pressed the button and the trafficmaster showed trip 2 mileage, pressed it again and again and kept getting all sorts of information up. I wondered how that worked

Took the glove box out (PITA) and fitted a P clip to replace the missing hinge pin. Works a treat now! (and doesn't rattle)

Brim to brim fuel check, averaging 29.7 mpg on my 1.8 non turbo. Much better than the 21 mpg from my old Rover 800. Quite impressed!
Checked coolant level, now 282 miles since my son decided to fill up the radiator, still above maximum, but only slightly over bottom of baffles, will see what happens in next week.

Changed both the ITP and UBP. And pollen filter.
Removed the side trims in the boot to see if Captain Tolley's has cured the leaks. After washing the car, there still were some drops on the left hand side.
Also connected a BMW PDC ECU with front sensor capability. Obviously T4 is not happy with it but reads fault codes from it. If I found an external sounder and an extra set of sensors I could test it further.

Sounds about right. I do on average 29 or 30 mpg when mixing driving in the city and outside city.
When I only use the 75 to go to work (mostly highway) I can do 33 up to 34 mpg.
