Replaced the leaking power steering pump.
Definitely not my favorite job on the roadside...
Then tested the few added horses (thanks BigRuss!). Now I can't stop smiling

Removed the boot spoiler from the ZT, detached the number plate light plinth and cleaned off the PCB.

Then tinned the solder lands and the rivets securing the lampholders and Lucar connections to the PCB and soldered them securely.

Refitted with new closed cell foam gaskets, and ballasted LED festoon lamps.

Once more the numberplate lights work, and should continue to do so reliably for the foreseeable future

Did the same to Mrs MB's car, as that also had an intermittent "idea" regarding numberplate lamp failure

The joys of 75 and ZT ownership

Took advantage of the nice weather and cleaned and painted the fuel tank brackets.

Not in bad nick overall, but may as well paint them while I'm gradually working my way along the underside...

Started making a Things to do List for my new ZTT. spent a couple of hours cleaning the engine bay, its much better to work on when its clean. did some remedial paintwork on the front wings and rear arch. Oh and swapped the radio out for a better one.

Changed two front flexible brake hoses and bled them. Big difference in feel and braking. Back two to be done next.

Weekly checks? You must have a petrol one then.
