Moved them all around after several weeks standing. The 50k V6 took some starting then ran with a bit of a knock but otherwise seemed ok. However, when I checked there seems to be no water in it. My worry now is has the gasket gone ltting water into a bore, and/or have I overheated it running it very low on water? Temp gauge came up to normal very quickly, but didn't go over.

Car was perfectly ok several months ago (unused). Would welcome suggestions, pl pm me.

This car has stood for months and the doors were advertised as was everything else, I can only store so much in my Garage and have helped numerous members out with cheap or even free parts, sadly what you see here is what was not claimed or required.
A time comes when a shell becomes an eyesore (even a 75 )

Gave the seats a good clean and conditioning with Gliptones - just luv the smell of leather - so I also rubbed the cloth on my face Now I not only look like I have skin of old leather - it smells like it

Found the Mot on my spare unused car ran out today, so addressed a couple of issues.
The bonnet cable divider was completely missing involving a rummage under the wing to reach the cables which the garage last year was not impressed with. So 'borrowed' the one off the Club tourer. Also adjusted the latch oins down by 15mm both to get a good fit to the wings and have less load on the catches and cables when pulled. (I suspect the whole front end has not been aligned too well when previously removed before I got it.)
Now to fit a pair of new wiper blades, wash it and book it in.
Couple of advisories last year including a front brake pipe. Hope this isn't worse and the lack of use not caused other problems.

Default What I did with my ZT

I took the ZT out of the garage, (to give it a clean prior to MOT tomorrow, and put the ZTT in the garage, but noticed a slight mist in rear light of the ZT, so opened boot, and found some water in boot, (not too much) so removed rear lights and found broken seal, cleaned them all and smeared with Vaseline, and cleaned, polished and waxed the complete rear end of the car including removing the rear boot seal, repaired broken one, and have just sent off for a new seat of seals

Also found a tiny bit of rust under the rear boot rubber at the bottom, so have treated that, and will finish it off at the weekend

Stu
