Washed Mrs MB's car, then the ZT, and decided Starlight Primertallic Drabogram is far too boring a colour for me

Looked at the four new tyres I bought last week, and thought I must get out my tyre changer, then thought nah...........better off seeing if I can blag a loan of a set of wheels so I can get the seven spokes refurbished before fitting the new rubber............I bet I know someone who would have a set of wheels in their nice tidy garage with newly installed shelving I could borrow for a few days

Started to try and improve the paintwork on my 75. After a wash took AG colour restorer to the bootlid and back bumper and managed to remove the fence paint that it had been splashed with. Got most of it off and then polished it with super resin. Even got a compliment from a guy that I kept that car well. Had to own up that the back only had been done.

Fitted new front brake pads. Not a moment too soon I would suggest....wear sensor only came on 10 days ago and mot'd last month. This is the inboard driver's side pad, worst of the lot. Somehow the discs escaped unscathed.....

Also had a fully synth oil change at National (£50 all in, not worth getting dirty for) and fitted air and fuel filters (pcv done last time so will do every other).

Sadly discovered that the driver's side lower rear wishbone bush is toast so booked in for a pair of them this week.

Thursday: washed and left to dry.
Friday: into the workshop for oil, filters, new hydromount.
Today: tracking, new rear discs, pads and wear sensor and cleaned and oiled the rear suspension arms. :-)
Found hole on silencer. :-(

Managed to remove a chewed up seat back and refit a nice unmolested one, not a terrible job to do.

Of course you can borrow a set of wheels Brian...... either a set of crowns with winter tyres or a set of unions.
