Am in the process of fitting the Synergy2 but cannot release the MAF connector, do you press the side lugs in or lever them out ? Don't want to damage the connector by doing it the wrong way !

Went to fit mine today after servicing the car.
Plugged it all in as specified....and my Engine Management Light has come on and display says Check Engine. Duly took the Synergy 2 off but the light is still on. Done a battery reset and the light is still on. HELP!!! |

Fitted mine this morning, half hour job,the engine management light is the connector on the front the wrong way round, looking at the box before fitting it's a pretty well made bit of kit.
Put it on setting 6 to start with and the difference was noticeable, before I had a terrible lag between 1000-2000 which i suspected was the maf , that's gone now and have solid acceleration all the way to 4000. When the wife had done her shopping I turned it to ten and wow!!!! It's like a different car, feel the urge in every gear. Mine's in the battery bay in foam cable tied to the wiring and if I say so myself looks right proper! |

The management light will switch itself off after so many 'cycles' with no fault detected...

Well, just tried it again and there's no power going to the supplied switch, so i reckon the box is faulty.
Thanks all for your help. |
