Have been looking at this and having seen some of the 'underneath' pics, how does this affect future maintenance? ie are all the nut and bolts under the car stuck solid afterwards? Apologies if this is an ignorant question!

Cheers

Actually, I would think it would make things easier.

The black underbody sealant is more like candle wax rather than paint - although tough, I doubt it will act as a glue in the way that paint does. It should, however, stop nuts; bolts etc from seizing solid.

Cliff,

Thanks for the tip about the application of leather cleaning material - it certainly helps to mask the smell, which incidentally is gradually disappearing.
I agree with your comments about the underseal which I understand remains relatively 'soft' like wax or rubber and can be cut away from nuts and bolts if it becomes necessary for access to them. In the meantime it protects the threads etc.

I'm not sure if it is imagination or not but my very quiet 75 appears to be even quieter since the underseal application. Has anyone else experienced this?

Only 8??? I'm shocked I have to say.

I must get around to getting mine done before the winter.

Question Rustmaster

Do I have to give my membership number, when I telephone to make an appointment to give my Rover 75 tourer the treatment. If so how do I find out what my membership number is. Thankyou, Bill

We don't really have membership numbers per se but if you telephone them and quote your username and that your from the 75 and ZT Club then you ought to be fine.

Thumbs up

:lol:Had the Rustmaster treatment to-day:lol:

I can confirm that the high standards previously reported are ongoing. The job took just around 3 hours by Kevin who was more than happy to explain the process as he worked while I drank coffee

Thanks Kevin and Michael for a great job and the coffee
