![]() OK,
Something new this morning. Yet another cold damp day. My car has sat at work most of the week. It sits outside in the works car park. So, I came to open the boot off the remote, and the solenoid went nuts, the only way I could get in was to pull on the boot lid as the solenoid was locking and unlocking at about 20 times a second! So, Brake lights come on and stay on- damp weather Wipers on rain sensing mode, wipers going nuts - damp weather Boot switch inside the car - packed up on day 2 of owning the car. Boot solenoid locking / unlocking like something gone mad - damp weather Air bag light on. Something on the passenger side? What's next?? This is England. We have cold damp rainy weather! In Wales that's called a good summer! I'm getting a bit frustrated. ![]() ![]()

There are two bump stop rubbers, one either side of the boot lid. Wind them out a bit and that should cure the machine gun rattle. ![]() |
