Will look very nice when done.
I bought a bumper that has the splitter fitted but it has been flared in, are you doing this?, or just having it as a separate piece..

Want it as a separate piece myself, if I smoothed it I can guarantee I'd smash it first day lol.

Plus then can take off for repair or repaint etc etc.

Smashing it on speed bumps is my biggest concern, but will try to go slow over them. A lot of work has gone into getting this bumper fettled,(thanks cazemi) so really hope it is ok, i can always put the original bumper back on tho if need be ..

i'm drawn to that subtle yellow....
i think it should be illegal to smooth glass fibre splitters into plastic bumpers, not that i'm biased in any way, shape or form......dont ask me why i think this

Thanks mate.

Truthfully they won't stay forever, I've one wheel in mind I've always wanted on the car (and my old zt). The bbs lm-r (not the lm) in 19 inch both 7.5 front and rear with matching dishes.

It will happen over winter hopefully.

Well a frankly **** week and half of ownership for me.

These two photos sum it all up.

1st one, Tyre exploded, car span and by time car stopped whole tyre was shredded clean off the rim.

Never had one as bad as this!

And no wasn't one of my Michelin, it was a new Contential tyre that I bought in October!

This one let go about 1/2 mile from my house today also.

Ruined my day after night shift. Had booked while day off to go to the best car show in NI, and instead was running around trying to get tyres on a Saturday morning.

So had enough of the Contential tyres, pulled them all off and bought a set of Bridgestone which where of spec on our cars.

When was at it did the annual caliper paint and figured would be a good idea to maybe touch up some areas of car with hammerite also.

End result

That's a shame. Glad you got it sorted. You should complain to the tyre manufacturer?
