We've had a busy first day with lots of new members signing up as well as existing members coming to see us, a big thank you to everyone coming to support us.

Here are some snaps of the day

LimoRog opening doors to an interested member

Mike Noc deeply engrossed with diesel talk

The Flying Banana looking more like a flying orange under the sodium lights (and iPhone colour balance )

Duotone chatting to a sunspot dressed enthusiast

Dragrad offering his assistance to a prospective new member

The Aurora's in flight entertainment system

More to follow tomorrow

Well done to the team, I've already been contacted by several people who where at the show from Ireland and where sent my way, so a big thank you from me to the team.

Have to echo comments already made: an impressive stand with a good selection of examples of the marque. Nice to see and chat to a few familar faces - my new mug is already being put to good use!

I'm just back from the NEC weekend, and although absolutely exhausted, very pleased indeed to have met and chatted to so many people. We gained many new members over the three days, and were especially honoured to have author of the book 'Rover 75 and MG ZT The Complete Story' join us on the stand today.

My thanks to everyone from the club who came to support us, and a personal word of thanks must go to LimoRog, Jules, Flying Banana, Mike Noc, Dragrad, Duotone, J1MBO, Simondi, and Christopher for helping make it our most successful show ever

Thanks Lukey - good to meet you. And a big thank you to Reebs and the mod team for inviting Big Ron to the stand.

Had a very enjoyable time and it was great to meet you all.

Apologies for not saying goodbye to everyone in person. Hope to meet you all again soon.
