Mate you could fit the bumper now, and then fit the chrome grill after. From what ive seen a few dabs of sealant in the right areas are all its going to need to keep it in place.

My advice is to be mindfull of future unforeseen circumstances that may require the removal of the surround, such as respray etc. I plan to look at the adhesive that secures the mounting bolts before fitting, as I have read posts by members who have one that these come loose, so I may add extra adhesive while they are secure, to prevent the possibility of one or more becomming detached.
My advice is to be patient untill I have a grille and surround actually fitted with pics including any mods I make. The time and cost of getting one is worth the patience. But that is merely what I intend to do

Hi I bought a bare one but most of the fittings from my dead dumper are fine and will do the job.I have got some parts to fit it such as indicators new for 6quid for the pair plus 4quid postage (bargain) got the bagde new and new fogs, have to make brackets for fogs but that should be easy just bound them on.
Have not fitted mesh yet but have got it cut to size, want to get bumper painted first. Have to get tourer back on road first, assembled bumper read to fit tonight.
Was stuck for an undertray but located one today get it tomorrow.
Biggest problem is getting MK2 headlights no one has any under a million ponds it seems, cant get second hand ones, just will wait till they turn up.
will send you pics when get grille fitted.was trying to locate all parts before starting to be sure of no problems.
