Weather was naff though, light to heavy rain off and on. Took a few pics but lighting conditions poor. Snow on the hills in Glencoe but not a lot, just enough to really confuse where the hills ended and the clouds started! There was a lot more snow south of Glencoe, Rannoch Moor was impressive, the snowy horizon blending into the low cloud.

That brings back a few memories - my son drove me back home from Fort William (reason why would take too long to tell) in November 2010, just as the bad winter snow of that year was on the horizon. The sun was still shining, but the chill and the bleakness - and the lack of other people on the road -was quite eerie.

Got a reminder of how dodgy the roads (or drivers?) up there can be, Transit van sitting on its roof next to the road across Rannoch Moor. :angry:

I'm intending to pull my caravan up to North of Inverness next Summer - that should give me a chance to test my XPower upgrade - and no doubt, my clutch and on reflection, it'll probably test my body too!
