Unable To Open Bonnet
I did the slider block mod and greased the catches when I got the car last September and the release mechanism has been working fine until this morning. I went to pull the handle and it was hanging down and is just sloppy, not working at all. I am wondering if the slider block has become detached from the inner wing as it always seemed a bit loose in the fitting. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

That's a little weird if it turns out the same fault, seems to be a bit rare. My cable had stretched prior to the splitter becoming detached but still worked, source a new cable before you fix it, and it may be worth creating some 'float' on the actual latches. (how to's available on here) All the very best replacing it!

failed bonnet release
It seems that I have the same problem as many Rover 75 owners in that the bonnet release on my 02 estate will not operate. Is there an easy fix or will I have to strip the entire front of the car? Thanks in anticipation. JK
