I'm wondering now if I've ordered th correct parts. I can pull in one of my bullets and there is no resistance. It just moves easily. What could be wrong ?

If its not folding you need to take it apart and have a look but the gears could be stripped which you will find out when you take a look, report back when you have done so

I'll take it apart when I receive the repair gears that you've just sent me. I'll let you know what I find.

Pete.

I've taken my mirror apart and fitted the new gears but I've got some problems.

When I put the motor housing back together, if I do any of the screws up tight (as a pose to leaving say 5mm gap between the two parts of the housing) the motor refuses to turn - I press the button, but instantly get a "click" as the motor switches off.

I've tried dis & re-assembling maybe 5-10 times with both old and new gears and plenty of grease but it's made no difference.

Any ideas?
