Could you talk me through that process? I managed to get TV recording today, that wasn't exactly intuitive, but at least I know it works. When you say Device settings, where would I find that menu? Jeff suggested that you cant record from the dashcam, glad you've succeeded.

Hi David,

I've had another look and I still can't see a way for the double din to record dvr footage.
The options are camera, aux1 and 2 and tv.
The camera option records when a camera is connected to the dedicated camera reverse camera connection.
I stand to be corrected but I'm not seeing how at the moment
P.s I think William may have just been referring to getting the dvr picture and recordings to show on the double din, not to record footage to the double din.

I might not have been able so get the VCR function to record the Dvr but my Dvr picked up this great bit of driving skills footage......enjoy

David I meant I viewed my picture live on the HU but I did also view what had been recorded by removing the cameras Micro S D card and viewing the files on my laptop, I should think these could also be viewed by using the SD slot on the HU, hope that clears it up.
